Imagine - John Lennon |
|
|
Imagine there's no
heaven, it's easy if you try No hell below us, above
us only sky. Imagine all the people
livig for today. ah-a... Imagine there's no
countries, it isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die
for and no religion too. Imagine all the people
living life in peace. uh.u... You may say I'm a
dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll
join us And the world will live
as one. Imagine no possessions,
I wonder if you can No need for greed or
hunger, a brotherhood of man Imagine all the people sharing all the world.
uh-u... You may say I'm a
dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll
join us And the world will live
as one. |
Immagina

Blowin' in the wind - Bob Dylan |
|
|
How many roads must a
man walk down Before you call him a
man? Yes, 'n' how many seas
must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the
sand? Yes, 'n' how many times
must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer, my friend,
is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in
the wind. How many times must a
man look up Before he can see the
sky? Yes, 'n' how many ears
must one man have Before he can hear
people cry? |
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till
he knows That too many people have died? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the
wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many years can a mountain exist Before it's washed to the sea? Yes, 'n' how many years can some people
exist Before they're allowed to be free? Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his
head, Pretending he just doesn't see? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the
wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. |

10,000 Years (Peace Is Now) The world is burning down Can't you smell the smoke in the air? War, disease, and famine This demon, she is everywhere Poets and preachers and politicians They've all had their say And we got 10,000 years Devoted to nothing But tomorrow and yesterday If all of the ignorance in the world Passes a second ago What would you say? Who would you obey? I am here to say that Peace is now Mr. President I hereby pardon you of all your crimes For they are just as much mine Selfishness and separation have led me To believe that the world is not my problem The world is not my problem I am the world And you are the world If all of the ignorance in the world Passes a second ago What would you say? Who would you obey? I am here to say that Peace is now |
Peace Train - Cat Stevens Now
I've been happy lately, thinking about the good things to come And
I believe it could be, something good has begun Oh
I've been smiling lately, dreaming about the world as one And
I believe it could be, some day it's going to come Cause
out on the edge of darkness, there rides a peace train Oh
peace train take this country, come take me home again Now
I've been smiling lately, thinking about the good things to come And
I believe it could be, something good has begun Oh
peace train sounding louder Glide
on the peace train Come
on now peace train Yes,
peace train holy roller Everyone
jump upon the peace train Come
on now peace train Get
your bags together, go bring your good friends too Cause
it's getting nearer, it soon will be with you Now
come and join the living, it's not so far from you And
it's getting nearer, soon it will all be true Now
I've been crying lately, thinking about the world as it is Why
must we go on hating, why can't we live in bliss Cause
out on the edge of darkness, there rides a peace train Oh
peace train take this country, come take me home again |

I wish you peace - Eagles I wish you peace when the cold winds blow Warmed by the fire's glow I wish you comfort in the, the lonely time And arms to hold you when you ache inside I wish you hope when things are going bad Kind words when times are sad I wish you shelter from the, the raging wind Cooling waters at the fever's end I wish you peace when times are hard The light to guide you through the dark And when storms are high and your, your dreams are
low I wish you the strength to let love grow on, I wish you the strength to let love flow, I wish you peace when times are hard A light to guide you through the dark And when storms are high and your, you dreams are
low I wish you the strength to let let grown on, I wish you the strength to let love flow, I wish you the strength to let love glow on I wish you the strength to let love go on. Peace and love - Neil Young Peace and love Flying so high Peace and love Too young to die Peace and love Now you decide Stay for the children You don't really want to go Can't feel it pulling like you did Peace and love |
Peace
and love Only
a ride Strength
is gone Dying
inside Tell
me now What
did you find Found
love in the people Livin'
in a sacred land Found
love in the people Peace
and love Found
love (found ...?) Saw
my mistake Broke
walls of pain to walk again I
saw the dream I
saw the wake We
shared it all But
not the take Peace
and love Lennon's
goodbye Over
Now Living
in time A
broken bell A
nursery rhyme Deserted
by heroes Strangers
in your own land No
way to deny you No
way to deny you Peace
and love I
took it all I
took the oath I
took it all Til
I had most I
took what's left I
gave it breath I
had it all once I
gave it back |
